Is there a way to check if Alt-F can run on DNS-320L rev A3?

I was extremely glad when I found about this project but turns out rev A3 is not on the supported list. Is there any way to verify if the firmware will work anyway?

Also, as an aside, I am wondering if the Alt-F build env can be used to build OSes like Syncloud or OpenMediaVault to target Alf-F's supported devices. Would be an interesting project to explore if I can get my A3 to work.

Searching the group messages might count as checking? ;)
Also D-Link provides only one firmware file for all Ax revisions...
