I wanted to make you aware of the “Global Change Postdoctoral Fellowship” at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, UC Santa Barbara.
With this fellowship, we hope to enable interdisciplinary scientists to conduct innovative research on various topics. Research topics will be wide-ranging and often at the intersection of global change ecology, hydrology, terrestrial ecology, biodiversity, and climate science. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a cohort of outstanding early career scientists working on a wide range of environmental topics.
Candidates are expected to come with an independent vision about what they would like to work on. While the main focus is on terrestrial systems, there is the opportunity to work on river and catchment science and management under my supervision.
The first review deadline is soon (Feb 5.) but we might be able to accommodate later applications.
Please be in touch with any questions and share with your students and network.
Best,
Rafael
