Dear Colleagues and friends,
Apologies for cross-posting.
I am currently advertising for a postdoc position on a project to make water infrastructure planning and operations compatible with a transition to a low-carbon energy grid. I am looking for candidates with strong quantitative modelling and programming skills, whom I can support to raise their profile as top-tier researchers and / or analysts. The ad closes on the 8 January (apply at this link), with interviews soon after.
The project, titled "Flexible design and operation of water resource systems to tackle the triple challenge of climate change, the energy transition, and population growth" , is fully funded by EPSRC, the UK government's engineering and physical sciences funding body.
The position is expected to last a total of 18-20 months, and will be based in Sheffield, UK.
Please feel free to contact me with any question, and to share with anyone interested.
Best wishes,
Charles Rougé, PhD
Senior Lecturer (eq. Associate Professor) in Water Engineering
