Apologies for crossposting.
Dear colleagues,
with my group at TU Berlin/ECDF, tomorrow we are launching the fourth edition of our hybrid lecture series (online and in person in Berlin) on “
Advances in Water Management and Climate Adaptation”. I'll open the lecture series tomorrow (April 23rd) with an introductory lecture, but we will in fact start with the guest lecturers on
May 7th by hosting
Christian Klassert (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ), who will present his research on "The rural groundwater impacts of urban water shortages: Coupled modeling of illegal water markets in Jordan". I hope this can be of interest for some of you/your students/colleagues and would appreciate if you can forward it further.
In seven episodes planned on Wednesdays between Apr 23rd, 2025 and Jun 18th, 2025, we will host different early-stage researchers from international universities, research institutions, and technology centers that will present cutting-edge research, projects, lessons learned, challenges and visions on water resources management and climate adaptation. External participants can also register to individual lectures by using the links in the table at this link:
https://www.tu.berlin/en/swn/study-and-teaching/courses/advances-in-water-management-and-climate-adaptationAfter attendance of 6 lectures, they will be awarded a certificate of attendance. If one wants to enroll for the whole series, please drop me an email.
Here you can find the full description of the lecture series, the amazing lineup of speakers, and registration links:

Feel free to share this info or the attached flyers and join us, everyone's welcome!
