max cpv issue (setCpv is not working)

The other person below seems to have the same problem.

I'm updating max cpv of one of my video campaign's adgroup, it has successfully ran and shows that bid value changed from this to this.
but actually when i go on to  the dashboard it has not changed.
I have attached screenshots.

This is new script version.

*It runs and changes well in the legacy version.

Any update on resolution of this issue ?

It's going to be a new version soon, but I'm in trouble because the code doesn't work.

Hello,

Thank you for providing the requested information. However, I would like to inform you that there’s indeed an ongoing issue  with the setCPV method which fails to update the max CPV value in the UI even though it was successfully executed upon running your script. Our team is already working on this issue and rest assured that we will also get back to you with an update.

I'm afraid we still do not have any updates to share with you yet. In the meantime, you can use the legacy version of the script while our team is getting to the bottom of the issue. Rest assured that we are closely monitoring the issue on our end.

Hello Yasmin,

I have been having the same problem (the setCpv is not working in the new script experience) and I saw that you said that the fix for this it's still in the works from your team.

Can it be possible that I keep using the old version of the script (legacy version of the script) moving forward until your team finds the solution to the problem of SetCpv that is not working?

I am asking because Google Ads announced that starting from today all legacy scripts will auto convert/turn into new experience scripts and us not having a solution for this setCpv problem would mean a lot of problems for us and a lot of manual work for many many campaigns and I cannot even imagine how we will do it without the script working.

Here are some info that you might need:

  • Google Ads account ID / CID ==>  863-553-2252
  • Script name == > 
    Speed Script New Script Experience SHQ

  • Also, can you confirm if you're experiencing the said behavior upon executing your script using the new script experience or via Legacy version? == > We are experiencing this issue while using the new script experience and it's working totally fine in the Legacy version, that's why I would kindly and deeply appreciate if we can continue using the legacy version until you resolve this problem.
