Problem with Account Anomaly Detector

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the account anomaly detector script.

I am using the template version in the ads account that sets itself up automatically. The spreadsheet is correctly integrated and was also filled with data until March 12th. Since then I got the following error message:

Exception: Call to GoogleAdsService.Search failed: Version v10 is deprecated. Requests to this version will be blocked. at adsapp_compiled:19395:138 at adsapp_compiled:19406:9 at sa (adsapp_compiled:237:15) at Object.search (adsapp_compiled:245:20) at adsapp_compiled:19525:26 at HJ (adsapp_compiled:19562:15) at HJ (adsapp_compiled:19566:14) at HJ (adsapp_compiled:19566:14) at GJ.search (adsapp_compiled:19525:9) at oJ.search (adsapp_compiled:19091:19)

I've really no idea what's the problem, because it was running without any problems until March 12th. And I made no changes on the script or the spreadshit.

Upon checking the issue encountered, the error is most likely due to version 10 of the Google Ads API not being supported anymore, which is why it states that requests to that version are blocked or won't be going through. You can refer to this link for reference of the Deprecation and sunset of the said API's versions. To provide further context, the solution script Account Anomaly Detector makes use of Reporting to gather data from your account. Google Ads Scripts' reporting infrastructure is backed by the Google Ads API and uses GAQL to specify what fields, metrics, and conditions you want to set.

 

That being said, kindly navigate through the source code and comment out the line which specifies the apiVersion. This can be done by placing two forward slashes at the front '//'. By commenting it out, the script should default to the latest reporting version. Please try this and let us know how it goes on your end if you'd still encounter an error.

Hi Everyone,

I have commented the API section out as recommended above but when I run the code now, I get the error message 

ReferenceError: REPORTING_OPTIONS is not defined at getReportStats (Code:232:39) at main (Code:125:22) at Object.<anonymous> (adsapp_compiled:20648:54)

Could you help me out here?

could it be you've added the double slash at the wrong place?

it should be like this:
