How to pause Discovery campaign using script?

Hi,

I noticed that AdsApp.campaigns() with campaign.pause(); doesn't stop Discovery campaigns, even in the new scripts version.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi Maciej,

As per checking, I'm afraid that Discovery campaign is currently not supported on Google Ads scripts new experience. I could see that a feature request has been submitted regarding this and it is currently under discussion.

In the meantime, you may keep an eye on our blog to receive updates and new releases regarding this.

Agreed that Google Ads Scripts need to be able to access all campaign types. We have a script that sets custom parameters for campaign name and adgroup name. Unfortunately it doesn't work for discovery campaigns, video campaigns or pmax campaigns. Presumably not audio campaigns either. Only regular search and display. Makes the script unusable. Is there any roadmap for when scripts will be able to access all campaign types? Thanks for your consideration.

You can check out our documentations on AdsApp.​VideoCampaign as well as AdsApp.​PerformanceMaxCampaign for the available methods which can be used for video and performance max campaigns respectively. With that being said, with regard to your query, I'm afraid we're unable to provide a definite timeline on the exposure of the feature to access all campaign types via Google Ads Scripts, as you may see the supported ones in our documentation, and would instead recommend you keep an eye on our Ads Developer Blog for future updates and latest announcements.
