Hi Leon,
Thank you for reaching out to us. This is Yasmin from the Google Ads scripts team.
As per this blog post and the Ads Developer Blog, it appears that the migration is still on schedule. Scripts will default to the new script experience once legacy scripts sunset. October 31st should be the expected date for legacy scripts to not work, but since there are a lot of issues being encountered, there may be a possibility for the migration to be extended. On that note, our team would be unable to further comment on this as there isn't an official announcement yet. You may instead keep an eye on the Ads Developer Blog in the event that there are changes to the migration deadline as it should be cascaded there; but as much as possible, if your team can comply with the migration before October 31st, then you may use that as reference.
I believe that all users of Google Ads scripts will be affected by this migration, such that there are no exceptions to any users, and that there is no order to the rollout. There also is no way in order to request for an exemption and extension for a certain user. This is why we are highly recommending that users manually move their scripts before the deadline (October 31st) in order to ensure continued functionality.
Let us know if we can assist you with anything else.
Regards,

Hello Luuk,
I confirm that there’s indeed no official post that has been released in our blog post. However, I assure you that the migration has been delayed until the end of the year and will resume in early January. With this, users are highly encouraged to manually update their script to ensure continued functionality.
I understand that there are still some unresolved issues with the new script experience. But I believe the team is working closely to resolve all the pending issues in the latest version. I also believe that the team is still open for considerations. We’ll just respond to the respective tickets that you have created once there’s an update.
Hoping for your understanding.
