Hello, I'm still looking for a solution to this one. Why doesn't the CLICK_VIEW resource return clicks made on APP campaigns?

I am trying to attribute clicks to conversions.
I utilize the CLICK_VIEW resource for this.I'm utilizing some independently verifiable GCLIDs which I've record of.
These GCLIDs are from an APP campaign and were collected on 2023-05-14.
I've attached a screenshot of my APP campaigns what were running on that day.See my Query:
SELECT
customer.id,
segments.date,
ad_group.type,
click_view.gclid,
campaign.resource_name,
campaign.advertising_channel_type,
ad_group.resource_name,
click_view.ad_group_ad,
metrics.clicks
FROM click_view
WHERE
segments.date = '2023-05-14'
AND click_view.gclid = 'some_id_goes_here'However, I never get a match. Response is always empty. So, I had a different idea. I instead queried for all clicks to have occurred on the given date. I got tens of thousands of records back, and all I changed was I removed `AND click_view.gclid = 'some_id_goes_here'` from the query.
However, I cross referenced the click data with my verifiable GCLIDs, and still no match. The IDs are very similar, up to the 28th character, but no actual matches between our lists.
So, I wondered by this point, is this resource even delivering `APP` campaign metrics?
I checked the resource documentation and found that it has access to `campaign.app_campaign_setting.app_store`. This makes me think it *should* have access, or why else could we retrieve the campaign's "app_store"?Then I checked the actual response's unique values within the `campaign.advertising_channel_type` field. It's only returning:
['PERFORMANCE_MAX', 'SEARCH', 'DISPLAY', 'VIDEO']I'm not sure what I'm missing here, but it seems like the CLICK_VIEW resource just isn't giving me all the clicks I queried for. Whats going on and why can't I look up GCLIDs reliably (or at all for that matter)?
Thanks
Hi Chad,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I can see that your concern has already been raised in another thread with the same subject "CLICK_VIEW not delivering all clicks? Cant Attribute!". For this, I would suggest continuing the discussion on the one email thread you sent, for better tracking of updates.

Hi,
Thank you for responding back.
Upon checking, it appears that the attached file contains logs for the customer ID 5779999814. With this, I have tried your sample query on my end using the customer ID 577-666-9804 but there is no returned data. That said, could you provide us with the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end for the customer ID 577-666-9804 along with the complete screenshots (without cropping) from the Google Ads UI showing the data? This is so we could have full visibility and provide more appropriate recommendations.
You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
Additionally, please be informed that I had to delete your previous post with the complete logs attached for security purposes.
