Unable to get permission for API

Hi everyone,

When I sign up for permission to access the Google Ads API, even though my user is said to be "Manager", I get the error "The user does not have permission to perform this action". Can anyone tell me, if I need some additional rights to the user, or maybe I'm doing something else wrong?
