Discovery campaign support by Ads API

Hi

Anyone knows if the discovery campaigns are supported by Ads Google API?

Is there any way to get an access to them via API?

Thank you for reaching out. Discovery campaigns are not currently supported in Google Ads API. For a list of campaign types that are supported, you can refer to this guide. A feature request has been put in for support for these campaigns. For any future updates on this, you may refer to our blog.

Are Discovery campaigns still not supported by the Google Ads API version 12? 

Our customer has launched a new Discovery campaign type that links to the product feed, but we can't access the info using the API.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Discovery campaigns already supported by the Google Ads API version 12. You may check this guide to create campaigns and create an Ad Group for the Discovery type. You may check here the supported different channel subtypes​​:https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v11/AdvertisingChannelSubTypeEnum.AdvertisingChannelSubType

For more information, you may refer to this guide.

However, with regards to the Discovery product feed campaign subtype is not supported in Google Ads API yet. My team has already created a feature request to be supported in Google Ads API. For now, you may monitor our blog for an update when it is supported in the future.

Rest assured that once approved, it will be posted publicly for everyone to be notified. For now, we can only suggest that you monitor our Blog post and Release notes for future updates.
