How can I use the api to configure optimized targeting?

How can I use the api to configure optimized targeting for discovery ads.
There is no development documentation for this configuration.

With regard to your concern, please note that not all features in Google Ads UI are available in Google Ads API. In Google Ads API perspective, we have this explorer_auto_optimizer_setting. However, this settings for the Display Campaign Optimizer, initially termed "Explorer". The optimized targeting for Discovery campaign is not yet available in Google Ads API. However, our team already raised a feature request regarding this one. With that being said, what we can do is to advise you to keep an eye on the blog or to the release notes for the updates.

Regarding the optimized targeting settings for discovery ads, other developers have already given feedback on 2021-12-14.
I hope this function can be used on the api as soon as possible.Please give feedback to the development team, thank you.

I'm using python-sdk 15.1.1, it seems like this is still not supported via api.
are there any updates on this?

Hello,
This feature was not included in version 12 of the API, and is currently not supported. If the feature is supported in a subsequent version, it will be posted on the release notes.
