Hello,

i've created performance max campaign by google ads api, but the campaign assets are still under review. I know it can take some time to review assets but this is taking far to long.
Some of my campaigns were set up over a week ago and their assets are still under review.
I've also notice that after duplicating a campaign, assets change status from "under review" to "approved" much more quickly.

I would also like to add that the campaigns are generated without any errors.

Do you know why the assets in a campaign created by the google ads api are not approved, while they are approved in a duplicate campaign?

Thank you for help.

Reposting the last inquiry (https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/RWDPxTlvqP4) from the forum as it wasn't routed to our support queue.

Hi Szymon,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

For us to check better, could you please provide following details via reply privately to author option?
  • Provide the complete request and response logs along with request-id generated assets in a campaign created where assets are still under review.
  • Provide the complete request and response logs along with request-id generated after duplicating a campaign and assets change status from "under review" to "approved" much more quickly.
To get complete logs, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex Python) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.
