Google Ads APIv12 (java client) doesn't throw any errors anymore when modify a deleted AdsGroups

Dear GoogleAds Team, we're on the migration path from v10 to v12 with our java client.

and observe the following seemingly undocumented behaviour change:

* In v10 when trying to modify a deleted adsGroup a `OperationAccessDeniedErrorEnum.OperationAccessDeniedError` is thrown

* In v12 when trying to modify a deleted adsGroup the modified adsGroup gets returned (with status `Removed`)

Is this intended behaviour or a bug?

PS: Seems somehow similar to https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/GSJmnw05iB4/m/7T9BHQmaAQAJ (where also deleted AdGroups are observed)

With regard to your concern, our team has no updates if this is intended behaviour or a bug. The "OperationAccessDeniedErrorEnum.OperationAccessDeniedError" seems to be an error when you are creating an operation which is not permitted to the said request. However, if you encountered this error in your Google Ads API, you may provide us the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on their end where we can see the error messages that you mentioned. If you haven't enabled the logging yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

For privacy purposes, you can provide it via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
