Hi can we leave "target_spend.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros" this variable to google and let it decide whats best on the runtime of the ad using python api support?

Simply can we just set "target_spend.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros" this to automatic or something?

Re-posting the last inquiry ( https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/6CbIYlEwQYk ) from the forum as it wasn't routed to our support queue.

Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API Forum.

Upon checking the Google Ads UI, it says that "To let Google Ads automatically set bids to maximize your clicks, leave this field blank.". This behaviour is also applicable in the Google Ads API when I tried the simple API transaction without setting value to the target_spend.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros. Let me know if you have further questions.

Best regrads,
