Hi There!

My customer has a request to extend their Adwords API contract until they can transition to the Google Ads API as more time is needed for this transition. AdWords API will sunset on April 27, 2022 (https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/start).

Any suggestions on who may be able to help. Also they have created a support case for this. However I am not sure how to view or access the support case.

Hi Upasana,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Since they already have created a support case for this, you may also provide us the original email subject of said support case, so that we can check in our system. Moving forward, kindly note as of April 27, 2022, the AdWords API will no longer be available.

On that date, all requests to the AdWords API will fail. That said, please upgrade any legacy AdWords API code to the new Google Ads API by April 27, 2022. For migration, here are some resources to get you started:

If you do have any difficulty while migrating legacy AdWords API code to Google Ads API, let us know so that we can assist you further.

Thank you Yasar for the swift response. Here is the case id the customer has provided to me  . case ID of support email is : [2-6558000031982] . Let me know if you are able to find it.

Unfortunately , the customer has run into a challenge where they feel they won't be able to complete the migration on time. Is there a provision of extension for customers who are still migrating over legacy adwords code to the ads API?

I will let you know if I hear back from customer on any help they need or difficulty they run into during migration.

Thanks!
