Some lost rate metrics are being returned as '--' or 0 while Google Ads interface displays percentage values for them, for the same date range.

Hi,

I am pulling data from Adgroup Performance Report and are getting discrepancies in the  values for the Search Network’s Some lost rate metrics .

The metrics are:

　Search Lost IS (rank)

　Search lost abs. top IS (budget)

　Search lost top IS (budget)

　Search lost abs. top IS (rank)

　Search lost top IS (rank)

Correctly with Campaign Performance Report

I can get it

but could not get in Adgroup Performance Report

answer : In the old UI (which was sunset) and in AdWords API, these metrics aren't populated when the campaign associated with the ad group is budget constrained. In the new UI and Google Ads API, there is no logic to blank the metrics in the case of having a budget constrained campaign.

Hi Masaki,

Could you send us privately a UI screenshot and a request/response log to the API that shows this discrepancy? For logging instructions with our client libraries you can pick your language version from the sidebar in th client library guide and select 'logging'.

My apologies, the logging instructions are in the AdWords client library readme page, an example is the AdWords Java Client library logging instructions.

As for the download_report_from_ui file, could you confirm which UI view this file was downloaded from? I asked because the Ad Group Performance Report should map to the Ad Groups view of the UI as seen here.
