From the Telegraph of 30 March 2026: CONE John Crawford died peacefully on 22nd March, aged 74. Much loved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He was s of Cedric Robson CONE 1909-65 by his 1940 m reg Q4 Cockermouth to Cicely Margaret K 1912-99 d of James Alec HANLEY 1887-1960 by his 6 Nov 1911 m (St James, Fulham) to Una BOWEN 1892-*. He m 1984 Alexandra Louise b 1952 d of Robert Andrew YOUNG and Jean Florence Helen 1923-2023 d of Joseph Roger MOORE 1895-1951 (s of Sir William MOORE 1st Bt 1864-1944) and Amy Florence PATRICK 1900-48 scion of that Irish gentry family, and had a son who is married with a dau:
