From the Telegraph of 1 January 2020: HANLEY Lorna Margaret Dorothy (née Hope-Morley). Passed away in Salisbury Hospital on December 19th, aged 90. Beloved mother of Peter and Sarah and adored Grandma of Emily, Jessica and Isobel. Funeral and cremation at West Wiltshire Crematorium, 10.45 a.m. on January 15th c/o Co-op Funeralcare.... Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Macmillan UK.
She was d of Hon Claude HOPE-MORLEY (1887-1968, s of 1st Baron HOLLENDEN (1845-1929) and father of the 3rd Baron) and Lady Dorothy Edith Isabel HOBART-HAMPDEN-MERCER-HENDERSON (1891-1972, d of 7th Earl of BUCKINGHAMSHIRE (1860-1930)). She m 1957 Sir Michael Bowen KCB (1918-2001) s of Prof James Alec HANLEY (1887-1960) of Cumberland by his 1911 m (reg Q4 London) to Una BOWEN, and had an adopted son and an adopted dau as above.

Her husband was created a Knight in 1974. Her brother succeeded as 3rd Baron in 1977, and she (and her sisters) were granted the style and precedence of daughters of a Baron in 1979.
