WEBCAM OF MAGGIE DALEY PARK CONSTRUCTION

One of our residents on NEAR's 1200-person New Eastside mailing list reminded us of the webcam that the park district installed to record the construction of Maggie Daley Park: http://www.maggiedaleyparkconstruction.org/construction.php?page=view    The earliest photos are from November 14, 2012, and the 27-second time-lapse video is very interesting.  It can be viewed full-screen, and the "compare mode" gives a great over-lay to what that particular location looked like on any date.  The view can be scanned and zoomed.   There is also a good explanation on the website of the construction progress and planned next steps. 

NEAR has reminded the park district and their contractors that we expect the dust to be more controlled than it has been in the past week.  Alderman Reilly's office is also aware of the growing dust problem, and the lack of water trucks to suppress the dust.
