LAST MINUTE REMINDER...GEMS meeting 5:30 at Radisson

This evenings presentation at 5:30 at the Radisson on Columbus by the GEMS team to Alderman Reilly and our New Eastside community should be very interesting.  Our initial concern was that these private schools would replace the requirement for a public elementary school.  The assurances NEAR has obtained from Alderman Reilly reduce that concern.  I just returned from seeing the rooms that GEMS has reserved for the presentation, and they are on the attractive Radisson AQUA deck level.  We respect the value of your evening family time, and are realistic that not all meetings have a need for high attendance.  This is a medium priority meeting...the private school should add an important dimension to our community, and we want to be respectful of the alderman's invitation to review this proposal with him.

We will use the front door on Upper Columbus, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor deck meeting rooms.  Hope you can join us at 5:30...It will be OK if you have to leave early for another meeting.
