What: Lights in the Heights, a neighborhood lights festival.
Where: The Heights, visit http://www.woodland-heights.org/Events/LITH2007/ for a map
When: This Saturday, Dec. 8th. The event starts at 6pm.
Let me know if you are interested in carpooling (I'd like to).
This promises to be a very awesome event, and Hank has been before and highly recommends going.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a MCFT but After Lights In The Heights on Saturday I'm going to go by the Artery for their 20th Anniversary celebration and to make a donation.
It would be real cool if some of you guys would like to join me.
The Artery is a great place and good to support.

We wish to celebrate the Artery's 20th anniversary as well as our exciting news (see announcement below)
SATURDAY December 8 7-11pm donations to our property taxes accepted!
Party and Video Screening
The Artery team will share newly edited footage from the 2007 season. We'll have wine, beer, apple cider and snacks, bring your own beverage of choice if you prefer.
This year we have had our first episodes air on HoustonPBS. We have secured more equipment to improve the quality of our production and editing. We have been featured in radio interviews and a Houston Chronicle story. Artists are starting to post their videos on YouTube, some are reporting great results such as new gigs and good feedback. We are scheduling Spring 2008 with a renewed sense of purpose for this media project.
However, the strain from January's property tax deadline is intense. I scheduled two benefits for the Artery this Fall and it rained both dates. So I'm compelled to use this weekend's event as an occasion to solicit assistance from anyone so inclined. Donations can be made to Artery Media Project. Whereas our current financial situation is awkward and troubling, there is hope on the horizon....
