Tomorrow, Minnesota has its primary election for our Congressional officials.  Since it is summer vacation time, many people are not attentive to this important election date.  In fact, only now am I using the state government website

Minnesota Secretary Of State - What's On My Ballot?

to bone up on all my candidate choices.  I urge Minnesotans to remind everyone to use the link above to find out who’s on their ballot, plus use the clickable links there to go to candidate websites and see what they have to say for themselves.  I have even e-mailed two candidates with policy questions to see how they respond to me.

Because my two incumbents in Minnesota have failed to adequately address my health care policy concerns, I refuse to vote for them.  I will choose other candidates I believe are more trustworthy.  I may not agree with everything on a candidate’s platform, but I will vote for them if they seem earnestly responsive to my questions/concerns.  This is one way—a long shot, to be sure--to shape federal policy which will deliver us from our health care chaos.
