This is the resistance of charging resistor in series with a very large capicator. Over time this value should increase to infinity-- but not using a digital DVM. Just connect it. The trickiery part is confirming the set up values. Mine had the direction bit set for cw not ccw.(maybe it was ccw, i dont rembemer except the car went backwards) There are quite a few people out there with experience tweaking the values so you will likely get good support from this group.

After several years of gutting and rebuilding a rusty old 1976—914 I am in
a position of completing the wiring on my Electro Automotive kit by finally
connecting the battery string (150 volts) to the positive and negative
posts on the controller. I am using a Azure controller with a Solectria ac
motor. In preparation to this final connection I have read the resistance
across the controller power input and find I have a 256 K ohm load. Does
anybody know what they have seen or what the manufacture calls for at this
input? No news but Azure no longer provides technical support, if anybody
know of a Northern California expert receiving that information would be
    much appreciated. Phil
