Hey,
I am starting to dig into the job of wiring everything up, and it occurs to
me that
if I want to run accessories without engaging the main contactor (and
controller),
that I will need to give the DC/DC converter its own contactor that engages
when
the key is in the ACC position. I'm not using an accessory battery.... more »

Potbox location and accelerator cable

Is there a generally accepted place to mount the potbox in a 914? Without the normal ICE and mounting points, there is an excess of cable beyond the sleeve that I don't know what to do with. I could see adding another length of sleeve to extend the first and provide a collar stop for the potbox, or just cutting the cable shorter... more »

This is the big fat semiconductor fast fuse to protect the controller from the battery pack. Does anybody know where to get the holders to mount these on the car? There is a holder at the bottom of this page: [link] ...but I wanted something more substantial and protected.... more »

On that note, my 914 has a an Auburn Scientific controller. Last year it quit working, and I took it apart and replaced the transistors. It still doesnt work right and I would like to find a technician who knows how to fix this stuff before I spend the money on a Curtis. Does anyone know anyone who would be willing to take a look at an Auburn Scientific C600?... more »
