In terms of food, I am pretty easy going. I currently don't have any restrictions on my diet, I eat almost everything and don't have any food allergies. Many of my friends have different dietary restrictions so I have been exposed to many different ways of eating, and I am open to trying out any of them. That being said, food issues that are really important to me are eating healthy and trying to eat local.

I like the idea of eating locally and doing that as much as possible on the trip really appeals to me. I have been vegan for about 8 months now. I'd like to stick with that but if it's not working I would be ok with switching to vegitarian for the trip. I don't really want to cook meat but if I'm cooking with someone else I have no problem if they do. But I would definitly like to try eating more local foods and more organic foods. Besides visiting farmer's markets I'm not really familiar with any other options for eating locally and organic so I'm excited to learn more. I also like the idea of eating waste foods but I've always been too shy to approach grocers to ask them if I can get some. I'm excited to meet everyone and do some cooking for the group!
