I still want to use latest alpha version. What version number should show up in the about field? Zero problems with alpha. Thanks.

Unless there was more than one alpha release on 9/10, I'm using the latest alpha.  It reports 7.1.6.3.

Hi Simon, Thanks so much for your wonderful program and ability to field so many questions.
Is there a way to widen the margins on an ebook. When I export to E-Book, it takes up the entire screen.
Secondly, is there a way to insert a table into my manuscript?
Thank you again!

Ebooks are designed to flow based on the reading device, so unless you create a PDF file I don't believe there's any way to force margins and the like.

Thank you!  Is there a way to insert a table, or a form?

That depends on what format you want the final result to be in.

If you want to create an ebook, you can insert tables as HTML code. If you want to create a print template using LaTeX, you would need to insert the corresponding TEX passages. If I'm not mistaken, there is no way to insert tables or similar elements for docx export. You would need a placeholder to do the follow-up work on the final result.

Here is a simple example of a table that will be exported to HTML format:
