Is Yipit phasing out its APIs

I had been prototyping for a bit and am just ready to go into alpha and I saw the notice at  http://yipit.com/about/api/ saying the API is now closed and no more API keys are being issued.

Is the API being deprecated. Should I be betting my business on this API?

Is there any support guarantee on the API?

Yipit currently has no plans to discontinue support for existing API users.  

Our API terms have not changed and can be viewed here:

If you did (and it does happen) do you know what length of time you would give as notice?
I didn't see anything in the API terms that addressed the question.
