Starting on January 23, I have been getting daily reports showing huge errors in Dew Point from CWOP.  As near as I can tell the data is consistent with what was reported before this date and is correct.  I checked the reported Dew Point calculation using the reported temperature and relative humidity for the given readings and they are as expected.  In looking at my email logs I notice there was no "weather data quality report" email on January 22; all prior to that are reasonable, and all after show large errors in DewPt...

Has anyone else seen this?

Here's a sample from the email I got on Jan 23:

Hello, William

What version of weewx?

If you run it directly from the command line, what values of dewpoint does it print out?

Did you change anything around 23 January?

Hello Thomas,

I haven't updated weewx or made any changes in over a year; it just keeps on ticking away.  I can check what version it is if you think that's relevant.

To me the Dew Point data looks correct.  I don't see a significant change in the data from one day to the next.  As I understand it weewx reports only temperature and RH to CWOP and CWOP calculates DewPt, at least that's what I read in my searches.  it looks to me like CWOP (or MADIS) is in error in this case, and I was wondering if anyone else was seeing the same problem.  There was a similar report from another station a while back but I don't know what they did to fix it.

FWIW, at CWOP station AS817 I am not seeing the same. I have numerous errors from the last couple of days, dew point being the largest. I think this is due to my outdoor sensor now being under the snow :O
