Deploying on Open Shift Error

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to deploy the app we created on Open shift? I tried the option but I keep getting the error "distutils not installed"

I need steps on how to deploy and what needs to be exactly done. I am stuck here and unable to proceed.

You should use web2py form source and install distutils (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3810521/how-to-install-python-distutils) and gitpython (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/GitPython/).

I tried doing what was said but it didn't work out for me.  I am trying to install in windows 8 and it just didn't work and I keep getting the same error again.
