Hi folk,

I'm going to buy an Occulus rift for a student project onto redirected walking.
Do you know if they are any promo code for student.

Sincerely

Kosen

Not that I am aware of, but that is the sort of question that is
better addressed to Oculus directly.

Same, haven't heard of any student discounts, but It can't hurt to make a nicely framed research project pitch to them, never hurts to ask for things!

How will you track the user in a area wide enough to perform redirected
walking ?

You don't need all that much space, actually - something like Vicon

Hi,
I finally bought the rift from the website.
Regarding the experience I'm going for a low cost solution, something like a Kinect (I know the depth detection in not enough).
I'm still searching.
