I assume you mean in a spatial model. There are some good examples of this in a recent paper by myself and Ann Cowan where we define spherical regions within the cytosol to represent condensates. Those regions contain fixed (D=0) binding partners for molecules that can diffuse in and out. See the results starting near the end of page 3730 in:
