Bluetooth Game Controller Detection

I probably know the answer but I thought I would ask to be sure. I'm trying to use the 8BitDo N30 Pro bluetooth game controller to trigger macros. Keyboard doesn't seem to detect button clicks on the device. I suspect they don't trigger the Windows keyboard hook but something else. Do you know of a solution to make this work? Thanks!

Clavier+ can intercept only keystrokes, so I'm afraid it cannot be of use in your case unless you find a driver or another software that maps game controller buttons to keystrokes.

To avoid false positives with antivirus software, Clavier+ doesn't use a keyboard hook but a more limited mechanism (which like hooks rarely works with games) to capture keystrokes: RegisterHotKey.

Oh ok. Thanks! I found that Autohotkey captures joystick buttons. It just requires writing a script. Sigh. Clavier+ is the only free UI driven hotkey software so I always check here first for solutions since I work with a lot of teachers in the developing world. Thanks again for all you do.
