Hi,

I'm just curious as I can't seem to figure this out after spending hours trying everything I know. I have my screenplay set on trelby and would like to put it on word to review and edit it to ensure that the formatting is in place, but for the life of me I can't keep the formatting. Is it possible to export the screenplay to a word document with the formatting in place...and if not in word rtf works for me its more about keeping the formatting in place.

Thanx.

Thanx. I've done the export thingy and it literally loses all the formatting. Everything is set to align left. There's no formatting there at all. What am I doing wrong?

You're right, so it is. I distinctly remember this working at some point, but the code has not been touched since 2005 when the RTF export was originally written. I wonder if the RTF spec has changed in the meantime and we're not producing valid RTF anymore? I guess so...

Is there an update for the rtf set to come in the future?

I hope so, if I get the time.

Excellent.

Other than the rtf hiccup I find the program to be excellent. No issues, and my agent even said it was a great one to use. I'll keep my eyes open for the updates :) Thank you for your hard work.

I did figure out the issue - and it did mean a little tweaking after I downloaded/exported it but it was still far faster than typing it out again. Thanx for the help
