Dear All,
I encountered such an error when I was running TRANSIMS.exe. This is really weird. I don't think I need to specify zone 0 specifically. But I did try adding zone 0 in the zone file, the error continued. Anyone knows why?
Btw, I am using Version 4.
Many thanks!

Best,
Guangzhi

You may have a blank line at the end of the file.

Dear David,
I checked carefully and didn’t find a blank line. Is there any other causes?
        Thank you!

Do you have a "NODE" field in your input node file?

Also, note in the output:

...
Number of Node File Records = 70255
Number of Node Data Records = 70254
...

Please investigate why the input node file has a record which is not recognized as a data record. Same for the input Zone file:

...
Number of Zone File Records = 4766
Number of Zone Data Records = 4765
...

Sorry, I meant to say "do you have a 'ZONE' field in your input node file."

Dear John,
I didn’t have a “ZONE” field in my node file. Is that necessary?
Btw, I investigated the node and zone file again. The differences of records are caused by the zone 0 I manually added. The problem dissolved after I remove zone 0 and the corresponding node in the node file.
However, the error: Zone 0 was not found in the Zone file continues...

Problem Solved!

I have thousands of zones. To make the number digits of the zone ID, I named the zones from 1001. The error disappear after I changed the first node from 1001 to 1.

I guess TRANSIMS needs a zone with ID=1.

Thank you for your help!
