Hi,

I received a google alert indicating that there was a Trac ticket opened for my client's website. Neither I nor my client use Trac – i.e., unauthorized usage. I've tried emailing jo...@edgewall.org and jo...@borgstrom.se as well as submitting ticket changes directly in order to close out the ticket. Any advice, insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

- LK

Which ticket? You just wish to stop receiving email notifications about this ticket, or to have it deleted?

Hi RjOllos,

Sorry for the belated response. I'd like to have the ticket deleted in its entirety. I tried doing this myself by changing the ticket content/details and changing the ticket status to closed, which in my experience with project/product development management systems, admins will close out and archive and/or delete the ticket. I just checked and the ticket still exists... At least the removal of my client's company's name will keep search engines from listing the ticket/site in search results...

Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Are you referring to a ticket that has been created on trac.edgewall.org? If so, please send me the link to the ticket.

Hi there,

Here's the link. Thanks for looking into this!

I misunderstood. You'll need to contact the owners of that site and ask them to delete the ticket. We just develop the Trac software here, we have nothing to do with the https://trac.cc.jyu.fi instance of Trac. Administrator credentials are required to remove the ticket from that site.

Sigh! Ok - that's what I figured except I can't seem to find contact info for them. I'll try another round of searching to see if I can hunt up some details for them.

Thanks anyway and have a good weekend!

Hi Kim,

Take a look at the wiki associated with that site.  There are names here you may be able to contact and make your deletion request.  Looks like some class project from 2012!

@Jeff: Oops! Should've thought of that myself! Thanks for the link – will contact those listed until I can find someone to resolve the issue.
