Hi All,

I have seen old references to the Rehab extension to the Topshelf project.
Are there any examples of how to use Rehab for updating the service?

What is the benefit of adding Rehab? Is it just giving appdomain isolation?

Thanks for the great library!

Andy.

Sorry, just saw this post:

There is work on Rehab (the service update feature) started, but it's a long way out. Things like Octopus Deploy and such get the job done nicely so I sort of stopped working on it

I'm probably going to have to roll my own solution then for auto updating.
Anyone got some simple example code for doing this with a topshelf project?

Yeah, sorry, it was de-prioritized a couple years ago as our deployment model is just using automated deployment tools (such as Octopus, or in newer cases Puppet and deploying to Azure as a Worker Role -- which Topshelf supports nicely with the Topshelf.Azure package).
