So, whenever I try and use a profile, it says that I need to set the keymapper IME as the default input method; however, even when I do this, it still asks to set it as such and profiles still don't work.

Are you setting is a default IME? Selecting it is not enough.

Where do you do this at? I've looked all over in the settings. I have the accessibility as in on Google.

IME is requested if you try to map to keys and you do not have uinput to create virtual devices. You should have seen a warning regarding this.

Select ime and set is as active on Android Input settings.

U have to put tinkore input as the default input metode. After u select it in the language and input you have to put it in the default, the selected one. The default one in first in the input metode.

Got another issue:

I want a button on my controller to be the home button, so I make it, click key: home. But that does nothing. Click Key: menu works fine, but the home button does not.

I've made Tincore my selected and default IME. Even when tincore detects the phone's home button and tried to fwd that button it stops working. I need to disable the home button in tincore to get my home button back

Any theories?

i haven't tried that option with tinkore, but why do u want to make your home button on controller? You can easy use the one on your phone! I use the one on phone and works fine. Maybe tincore knows how to do what u want!
