No controllers found?

I'm using an unrooted note 3 and nvidia shield Tablet as my devices. I have paid for the premium content for this app. However, even though my devices are able to connect to via Bluetooth to my game controllers, ipega 9023, nvidia shield controller, and moga controller, none of these controllers show up on the tincore app. All videos I have seen just say put it on discover and connect but when I do this it says no devices found. What am I doing wrong? The app states rooting is not required. Thanks

Some controllers can only be found if rooted. For instance Moga should be found in SPP mode (switch to orange).

Thank you for your time. So I can only use it if it is rooted? What is ssp mode? Is that a setting in tincore.

My mobile is rooted and stil the Tincore Keymapper can't find my gamepad. But my mobiel can connect the gamepad and i can play with it. What must i do?

I was able to solve it by reinstalling the app. It happened to me because I authorized root lately.
