Hi. I am wondering, what is the best way to get latest tigervnc on my Debian 12? Currently Debian 12 provides version 1.12.0 of tigervnc.

I prefer to use Homebrew on Linux in this case, although I'm on Linux Mint 21.1.
FYI: Homebrew started as a Mac package manager of software, but expanded to Linux.
Your mileage may vary, but I just tried: brew info tiger-vnc && brew install tiger-vnc && brew list tiger-vnc

I'm new to TigerVNC so I'm learning how to configure now...

After scanning the TigerVNC Wiki, project /doc directory, and README.rst I started searching for any guides or walk through documentation.

What's been valuable so far, even if it may be out of date:
The Homebrew client binary certainly works, but I'm still working my way through on the server configuration because I want it to be secure (localhost only via SSH tunnel). This was a weekend project, so I may not progress on this for a while.

I forgot to mention, I have reviewed the share/doc/tigervnc/HOWTO.md as well.

Is there any way to start tigervnc? On normal installation, you can start with systemd. I was using tigervnc with Arch before.

Basically add user in "vncserver.users" file, then start the service.

You can find "vncserver.users" in `/home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/etc/tigervnc/vncserver.users`

So what left now is to start tigervnc. I tested `brew services list` but cannot find tigervnc, so ai am not sure how to start it.

You'll need to:
`cp /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/Cellar/tiger-vnc/1.13.1/lib/systemd/system/vncserver@.service /etc/systemd/system/`
and perhaps adjust the ExecStart line in that file. I'm troubleshooting this part and the previous references I've mentioned help.

systemctl daemon-reload
then perhaps something like...
systemctl start vncserver@:2 # I'm trying to start it on a different port
systemctl status vncserver@:2 && journalctl -xeu vncserver@:2
