Simple multi-user solution

Hi guys

I have recently joined TiddlyWiki; and I am still learning how it works... 

I'd like to set-up a system to enable team editing of a common wiki.

I don't have great computering skills, so I was leaning towards some simple solution. TiddlyLock seemed just fine to me. But now I see it may be outdated, for the new TiddlyWiki v.5.x.x

I'd like to know which is the current simplest solution to work collaboratively...

It would be okay something like keeping the wiki on a dropbox shared folder and editing it locally, using some system to prevent one user overwriting changes of the other in case they might be editing at the same time, like TiddlyLock did.

You can invent a workflow to take care of that:

1. user BAR wants to edit wiki FOO
   
2. before doing so, he puts a file FOO_BAR next to the wiki
3. BAZ comes along and also wants to edit the wiki
4. seeing that there is FOO_BAR she doesn't
5. she asks BAR to let her know when he's finished editing FOO
6. after BAR saved his changes, he removes FOO_BAR or simply informs BAZ, knowing she wants to edit something, since she sent him a message about that beforehand
7. now BAZ goes ahead and creates or simply renames the indicator lock file to FOO_BAZ
8. when BAZ is finished, she removes FOO_BAZ and everyone knows they can edit the wiki AFTER they create a lock file for others to see who's locking he thing
9. nobody ever forgets to remove that file when finished
10. the end ...and beginning of that cycle of manual lock-file rebirths

Good idea Tobias : ) really it doesn't need much more to get the thing done. I think it would be even faster if there would be a subfolder next to the wiki file within the shared folder. Inside this subfolder there would be one .png files with just one big red circle, named STOP. Whenever someone is editing the file, he / she places the red dot file outside the subfolder, next to the wiki file. When he / she finishes, he/ she just replace the red dot file into the subfolder. For me this would be even more straight forward, since there is not even the need to rename an extra file; I find more confortable the action of drag dropping files, but I guess that depends on the tastes of every one ; )
