Recently several queries regarding page and layout customisation has been coming up. IMO the current documentation regarding the same is little inadequate. Here is my proposal of a rewrite. Opening to community suggestions and recommendations.

Can I suggest you show one example snipit of putting display none on a class.

Excellent! Its close to a tutorial without being one.

I think the extra information is well worth having in the basic documentation.

I'm more sceptical when you example through checkboxes that change behaviour of the wiki (like switching off subtitles). In the context of THE documentation DOCUMENT that might have confusing side effects left switched off. Just MO.

I don't. Other than if they can be made transient. The problem is the effect on the wider context once you navigate away from that Tiddler.
