I am all set for a 3 day tieathon. Final prep for the storm is to fill up a few growlers on the way home tonight. Anyone with same thoughts, lets post some flies on this thread over the weekend. Enjoy

I'm going to be at the vise a lot. Just picked up a bag of 6mm pearl beads at craft store for some articulation nation. Also prepping materials for Somerset next weekend. Y'all be safe and don't punish your livers too much.

Yep --- Beth is sick, but I'm sure we'll do some tying this weekend for sure. Note our dual tying station. Picture it with a couple of glasses of Johnny Walker Black and stuff scattered around and you'll get the idea.Soft hackles mostly. A few others. There are very, very few times when I am not fishing on a day off, but a potential 18" of snow is one of them.

Also, use the same general technique with a single strand of egg yarn (sometimes split in half) to tie a sucker spawn.Tie a few, and you'll figure it out and get a feel for how you like to tie them.
