Is there any way to control Samsung's always-on display? It has a qstile toggle which makes me think there is a control API for it, but as far as I can tell, nothing that I can trigger through Tasker. Any thoughts?
but there are alternatives.
changing values there seems to make no difference (although they appear to stick).Any ideas anyone?

Here is the site I found that had the code tutorial on how to turn on/off AOD. Root is not required.

As I mentioned above, I know how to turn AOD on and off (by Secure Settings and Javascript). What I'm hoping to achieve is to change the clock style using Tasker. Any ideas?
