I have created a tasker profile to notify (sound) when new text received. Because there's a issue with i9300 cm10.1.

But the problem is, once tasker trigger that task, it won't end after the notification completed. As a result of that, it make a rejcopy issue.

Why is it? Is it tasker bug?

My profile.

Profile: SMS Notification (127)
Event: Received Text [ Type:Any Sender:* Content:* ]
Enter: SMS Notification (128)
A1: Play Ringtone [ Type:Notification Sound:CyanMessage Stream:5 ] If [ %SILENT ~ off ]

What do you mean it won't end? The sound keeps looping? Try using Music Play instead of Play Ringtone and then you can do Music Stop to stop the sound when desired.

That HAS to be a rom issue.

You're using the right type of event, so IT SHOULD BE non-repeating.

Music play suggestion might result in playing the file segment over and over as result then also.

I'm talking this one. After the tone played, tasker shows that running icon on that relevant task. Its not only this profile, I saw it some other profile.

No that notification tone doesn't repeating. But it shows that task still running. Even if the tone play completed.

My last SMS received one hour ago, but still I can see that task running. (Please check the attachment)

I have seen that happening too on Tasker 4.1u3 with many different tasks. I suspect that this might be a bug in Tasker. Didn't notice it in earlier versions.

Yes, I guess too. If I manually run that task (not only that, other affected tasks too) after it play back the tone (after performed the last action), tasker stop that task. But if it do automatically, it take few minutes or continuously show running.

I just did a little more checking. The task kill button next to the task run button will be shown if any task is running, not just the task on the current screen. I found that I had a task with an infinite loop that I had made for testing running. So Tasker is working correctly - although it is not obvious that the task kill button kills all running tasks.
Check for a task that is running continuously.

Correct. Any task in tasker is running is what this means.

Not, that the displayed task is still running necessarily.

Then it will not make a rejcopy issue? I can see several rejcopy issue on tasker log.

Sorry, the above statement is not clear to me at all, However as for the screen shot when you see the stop sign it means "A" task (could be any task) is running not "THE" task that you are editing.  So check the run log to see exactly which task is running..

Hope that helps..

I can see several rejcopy issue on tasker log.

Then whatever the copy is, examine the context activation or any other tasks that may call on it as a child.

This is common when neglecting to check a task edit that contains a goto command. The flow changes during the edit, resulting in repeat task activation or something probably.

Some of the tasks don't have that type of sub tasks. For an instance, above tasks. But I still face this issue. Therefore I have to add another profile to stop this type of tasks, otherwise it causes rejcopy issue.

Still difficult to tell exactly what you are talking about..
I think we need a specific task / profile description export with the way you are firing the task and a run log of this task giving the rejcopy. isuue

I believe he is talking about the collision handling in the task properties is set to abort new task and in the log it will reject new requests to run the task.  You might want to examine the log or search Tasker and see if something else is calling the "SMS notification" task.
