When I export a task that uses internet in shell and create standalone app... Shell has no access to internet.

Took me few days to figure this out.

This task will work in Tasker. 5 times regular ping. No troubles at all.
The same task won't work when exported. Ping wont start with "cannot resolve host" error. Tried the same with wget (that was my original plan).
To add INTERNET as extra permissions did not work, the app doesnt have this permission. Maybe I did something wrong.

Comments anyone?

It will need the android.permission.INTERNET permission (not just INTERNET).

Oh gosh! It works, thanx. Maybe a change of the help text would help.

Which help text ? Run Shell ? I can't predict what actions you're going to do and hence which permissions you'll
need.

Of course You can't :)

I was confused by the syntax of permissions and extra permissions, because the first one was written with single word and the second one had to be "long". That's all.
