Using 4.2u3m on Nexus 5 KitKat 4.4 (rooted but on stock rom)

New profile, State, wifi connected, SSID magnifying glass returns a "Sorry, no scan results available".

Obviously wifi is enabled, connected and I can browse the web normally

The rest of profiles appear to be working ok.

Tried reboot, restart tasker, enable/disable profile, enable/disable tasker, enable/disable wifi.

Run Log doesn't show anything.

Any ideas.

Thanks.

I just ordered an N5, will try reproducing your problem when it arrives (but will be at least a week I think)

Works fine here in with same phone (also rooted and stock), same Tasker version. Maybe check your Advanced Wi-Fi settings? I have W-Fi on during sleep - Always, Scanning always available - checked, Avoid poor connections - not checked, Wi-Fi frequency band - Auto, Wi-Fi optimization - checked. Hope that helps.

Thanks nanobrain,

Checked my wifi advanced settings and everything looks normal.

I'm sure the problem is with my setup, not with the N5/4.4.

I will keep trying ;)

Does your router broadcast the SSID?

Yes.

There are a lot of wifi networks close enough to my house so I should see them even if my router was kidding me ;)

My fault.... some unexpected configuration in XPrivacy was not allowing tasker to connect to internet...

Tasker now working as expected.

Sorry!

For anyone else finding this and having the same issue of not being able to scan wifi points, the location permission somehow didn't get enabled for Tasker on my new phone. I'm guessing it's from when I restored from a backup on my old phone?

Giving Tasker the location permission fixed it and all is back to normal.
