Tasker taking a screen shot

Hello,

    I am trying to use /system/bin/screencap -p sdcard/Download/test.png
   The file is created however it is empty. Does it require root ?

 My phone:
    Samsung Galaxy S5, non-rooted Android 5.0

Eh :/ pretty sure your twisting his words here, what exactly did he say? Better yet do you have a link? you sure the Nexus and S3 ain't just the devices he owns/tests on? I doubt he actually said it only works on those devices he doesn't have every Android device to test on to be sure of that so I just can't see him saying it.

I said that I can only test the AutoInput Root action on a Galaxy S3 and Nexus 7 so I can only be sure that it works on these devices.

The other AutoInput actions should work on all devices.
