Dear Friends,

Aging, wear and tear is a natural process for all living things and moving parts. These changes can be prolonged by proper preventive maintenance and care for mechanical parts. For a human body it is more complicated and delicate too. One should understand, about the body constitution first and try to adopt good healthy food habits and exercises to optimize the functions and over straining as well.

Though medical science and its research papers are in English, aged people, particularly our women will feel at home by reading these fundamentals in their mother tongue.

I am fair in reading and understanding in English and Tamil, felt to collect and circulate in Tamil for the benefit of my larger part of my friends circle.

Most of us presume, we know many things and actually it is mostly superficial and insufficient. This is on account of our earlier generation educational system and other limited scope to learn, unlike one present generation has. Our age, status, shyness and attitude to learn adds more negative. In our own interest, we should shed this attitude and learn.

I hope reading this will help to have a better understanding and change our habits for a better living.

With best wishes,

K.Raman
