Hi!

I’d like to produce The End of the Tether by Joseph Conrad. It is often described as a novella but it’s over 50k words so I assume this can be a stand-alone production.

On PG it’s a standalone, but it was originally released in 1902 the collection “Youth, a narrative, and two other stories”. Is the IA link therefore going to be the link to the whole collection or the first page of this novel (within that collection)? Alternatively, there are also scans for a later, standalone edition (1916). Also, there’s no Wikipedia entry for this book, only the collection. Would that work as a "Wikipedia link"?

Regards,
Szymon

OK, sure. Use the scans from the latest edition that is its own volume.
If there's no unique Wikipedia entry for the book then don't include a
Wikipedia link. Please send a repo link once you start!

Having completed the proofreading I'd like to approve the artwork. Can I use Turner's Fighting Temeraire? It fits thematically with the book, which is about an aging captain who made a name for himself in the age of sail and is forced by circumstances to do a final run on a steamer. If the painting is "too famous", a second option would be the Old Sea Captain, but I sure would love to use a Turner...

Well, ‘Fighting Temeraire’ is in the DB, which I take it means that
it's fair game for the right production. It would be good to see your
crop with the SE titlebox, of course. The "Old Sea Captain" looks like
a good back-up, though, if EiC deems the Turner to be
inappropriate.....

Looks good to me, Szymon!  I've made the assignment in the DB.

(I had that "Henry Clay Frick" portrait in mind I floated - which got reserved for a more suitable project. FWIW!)

Looks good, Szymon, I opened an issue with a few minor things to address.
